Welcome to my website!
I am a Senior Research and Evaluation Officer at The Smith Family in Australia and an Adjunct Researcher at the University of Tasmania. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics at the University of Luxembourg, where I deepened my research in applied and welfare economics.
I hold a PhD in Economics from Griffith University, Australia. Before that, I earned a B.A. in Economic Development, International Cooperation, and Conflict Management and an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Florence.
My research focuses on micro-econometrics, applied microeconomics, and welfare economics. I am also interested in political economy and experimental/behavioral economics.Â
My PhD thesis explores inequality and income distribution issues and their socio-political implications. My first publication, for instance, examines economic insecurity as a driver of right-wing populist support.
